Phase 1: Beginning April 27
Holland Board of Public Works will be repairing a section of water main along Paw Paw Drive beginning April 27. Crews will be replacing aging water mains and galvanized service lines in the construction area.
Traffic Impacts
- Paw Paw Drive between 8th Street and Hope Avenue will have a reduced speed limit.
- Hope Avenue between Harvard Drive and Paw Paw Drive will be closed.
Traffic control will remain in place through Monday, May 11.
Location
Work will begin on Monday, April 27 on Paw Paw Drive between 8th Street and Hope Avenue.
Phase 2: Beginning May 11
Holland Board of Public Works will be repairing a section of water main along Waverly Road. Crews will be replacing aging water mains and galvanized service lines in the construction area.
Traffic Impacts
- Waverly Road will be closed from just north of E 8th Street to Waverly Meadows.
- 8th Street will be closed at Waverly Road.
- 8th Street will remain open to local traffic only.
Location
Work will begin Monday, May 11 on Waverly Rd just north of E 8th St to E 13th st.
Phase 3: Beginning July 10
Holland Board of Public Works will be repairing a section of water main E 8th Street. Crews will be replacing aging water mains and galvanized service lines in the construction area.
Traffic Impacts
- E 8th Street will be closed between US-31 and Paw Paw Drive.
- Waverly Road will stay open to traffic.
- The center lane going southbound on Waverly will be closed before E 8th Street.
- The left turn lane going northbound on Waverly will be closed at 8th Street.
Location
Work will begin Friday, July 10 on E 8th Street between US-31 and Paw Paw Drive.
