Regular Board Meetings

A Regular Board Meeting is for staff to present recommendations and to ask the board to take action on specific items. Holland BPW's Regular Board Meetings are streamed live on the City of Holland's Government Channel. Watch meetings when they are live here.

Regular meetings are scheduled the Monday following the first Wednesday of each calendar month unless any of those Mondays happen to be a holiday, in which case the scheduled meeting date is adjusted by a week either way. Unless otherwise noted, the meetings begin at 4:00pm.

Study Session

A Study Session is a meeting of the Board of Directors, Staff, and may include professional consultant(s) for the purpose of learning about and discussing future issue(s) and/or recommendation(s). No action is taken at a study session.

Study Sessions are scheduled the fourth Monday of each month. Unless otherwise noted, the meetings begin at 4:00pm.

Special Meetings

A Special Meeting is called when recommendation(s) not presented at the regular meeting need action in a timely manner.

*Please note a change in venue for the first half of 2026 as the HBPW Service Center undergoes renovations. 

From January 1 - June 30, Regular Board Meetings will take place at the City of Holland Council Chambers (270 S. River Ave.). Study sessions will be held at the HBPW 49 W 3rd St. offices.

All meetings beginning July 1 will return to the HBPW Boardroom (625 Hastings Ave.).
