Net Metering is the process by which a customer who is producing power using a renewable source such as a wind turbine can reduce their utility bill based on the amount of unused electricity they provide to the Holland Board of Public Works.

Recycling/Refuse Rate Information
The City of Holland has a mandatory refuse/recycling program for residents living in a single family home, a duplex, and apartments with 1 to 4 units. Under the current contract, services are provided by Chef Container. The Holland Board of Public Works (HBPW) bills customers for services. You can sign up for service by contacting HBPW customer service at 616.355.1500. The City of Holland website provides more information including pricing, pick-up schedules, and service options.
