BPW EarthCare Program

The Holland Board of Public Works has always been committed to the highest level of reliability as well as a diverse generation portfolio that helps us keep our rates low while averting large cost hikes when unforeseen incidences occur, such as high spikes in gas prices.  At the same time we strive to be good stewards of the environment and leave a clean and healthy planet for future generations.

is a series of  lifestyle choices, all designed to promote a more sustainable environment for our community.  From the waste heat that warms the streets of Holland for snowmelt, to the rain garden that uses native plantings that require less sprinkling, to the recycling efforts made by our employees, our focus continues to remain on an earth friendly mind-set.
