Sanitary Sewer Main Lining - Insertion of a cured-in-place liner inside select sanitary sewer mains throughout the Holland BPW sewer service area. This is a trenchless technology to rehabilitate old sanitary sewers without the costly excavation and lengthy disruption to public services. Just under 7 miles of sanitary sewer pipe will be rehabilitated. Please see a map of the proposed sewers to be lined. Work will begin in June 2013 and should be completed before November 2013. Other than a few temporary lane closures that will last about a day or two in each area, there should be no disruptions to the traveling public. Customers connected to sewers that are lined will temporarily lose service for a few hours while the sewer is lined and while the lining cures. Detailed instructions will be provided to those affected customers prior to work being done so they can plan for the service interruption.
